Swiss Natya Sabha enabled a project collaboration with five Indian dancers for the unique production „Sarva”. Aalap, lead organiser for the Azadi ka Amrita Mahotsav program, is presenting this dance production on April 30th 2022 in Geneva at the Aula Henri-Dunant. „Sarva” portrays facets of freedom fight and communicates a message of upliftment and empowerment. Sarva celebrates with the audience the freedom of women and tells a story of freedom to the world.
Sarva team consists of professional dance artistes from across the world including both Bharatha Natyam as well as Kathak dancers who have several years of international experience: Anvita Pandey (Kathak) from Zurich, Pranitha Kamat (Bharatha Natyam) from Birr, Sharmila Rao (Bharathanatyam) from Zurich, Swarashri Sridhar (Kathak) from Dubai, Uthra Sankaran (Bharatha Natyam) from Basel and Krithika Natarajan (Bharatha Natyam) from Geneva.
